I’ve spent years digging through gigs, record shops, zines and the small print on the back of sleeves. Who played drums on this? Who recorded it? Who’s singing? Who produced this? What else have they done?
Streaming services never ask those questions. Their recommendations kept looping back to the same few bands, so I built something that follows the people instead.
How the map works
Bands here are linked only through people: shared members, guests, producers and engineers. Pick a start point, follow a line, and see who connects to whom. On the Discover page you can go one or two steps out and filter by how few listeners a band has, so the quiet ones come to the surface too.
The site is hand-built and never finished. The data comes from MusicBrainz, Discogs and Wikipedia, plus my own listening, and it’s all linked together so you can follow connections between bands and people. Mistakes do creep in, so let me know.

If you’re in a band on here and something’s wrong, or there’s a band I should know about, tell me at underground_radar_666@pm.me. Corrections from the people who made the records are the most useful thing I can get.
